Great question. In other words if we want players to excel in the game environment then why do we not make practice more like that game environment. More competitive, intense, get rid of flow drills, more game elements, more decision making, etc.

Critical coaching point…play does not always equate to games. Through RLD and the CLA coaches can ensure “play” is a component of practice activities.
