Jesus slept in perfect peace during a raging storm. It’s not that Jesus didn’t know how big the storm was, it’s that He knew God was infinitely bigger. The storm may look big, but the storm is not in control. God is. Just because the storm is present doesn’t mean peace is absent.

hey girl, know that Jesus didn’t die for the beautiful, dressed up you that sits in church/reads their bible daily. He died for the you that stays up late crying or accidentally misses church. the you that makes mistakes, is hard on yourself, or forgets to pray. remember that.
