Katie will be filming a music video, visiting British Normandy Memorial Standing with Giants and also performing at a special event for Normandy Tourism UK & Ireland 🐠

On Friday, Seven Normandy Veterans joined HRH The Duke of Gloucester, Lord Richard Dannatt, Viscount Henry Montgomery, and Chair of The Spirit of Normandy Trust, Richard Palusinski for a 'Bon Voyage' dinner at Cavalry and Guards Club in London. #DDay80

Ahead of the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings, a group of World War Two veterans have come together to share memories.

Many plan to make their final trip to Normandy this summer to pay tribute to their fallen comrades.

D-Day veterans and their descendants gathered in London ahead of official commemorations in Portsmouth and Normandy.

The nine men, aged between 98 and 103, gathered at the Union Jack Club, near Waterloo.

Very sad to share that D Day veteran William 'Bill' Gladden died earlier today. Our volunteer @paulcook said, 'It was one of the biggest privileges in my life to have known Bill. I will miss him dearly – he was one of our greatest heroes and also my friend. Travel well Bill.” 🇬🇧

Last week some of our employees volunteered their time & travelled to Normandy to support Standing With Giants with the installation of 1,475 silhouettes at the British Normandy Memorial ahead of #DDay80 .

Standing with Giants will install 1,475 silhouettes across the British Normandy Memorial grounds, a project four years in the making, titled 'For Your Tomorrow'.

The public will be able to see the installation as part of the D-Day 80 commemorations from 21st April - 31st August.
