Short-term CTE programs can transform people’s lives. We’ve seen students obtain enriching careers and move out of homelessness by getting jobs in healthcare, welding, and other key industries. It’s life-affirming and purpose-affirming. #ECMCFchat

Really appreciating russell lowery-hart's remarks at #ATD_DREAM conference - Amarillo College flipped the script and adapted to students instead of the other way around, recognizing the importance of being a college willing to love students to success. Closing equity gaps - inspiring!

I’ve been waiting for this Dear Colleague letter for years. ED informing colleges that they can use FAFSA data to tell students about public benefits programs that they may be eligible for. Urges colleges to coordinate w/campus stakeholders on benefits outreach. #realcollege

Great mention of Student-Centered Design at SJI's work with House Bill 2835 in Oregon. The bill allocated nearly $5 million to colleges and universities to hire benefits navigators, employees who help students access aid. opb.org/article/2021/1…
