MFA is dead. It is a meaningless term now. Phishing Resistant Authentication or PRA is the new MFA.

SMS codes are not MFA. Please stop calling it 2FA or MFA. SMS codes are multi-step verification using something you know a 2nd time, not multiple factors. Calling SMS codes MFA devalues what MFA is. If you work in IT or cybersecurity you should know the difference.
