Saturday night action and one off the bucket list as Sparta Rotterdam hosted Fortuna Sittard Het Kasteel has been on my list for a while so nice to finally get to visit it. The fun continues tomorrow with an early train to Friesland #Groundhopping

Super Sunday started in Friesland as sc Heerenveen deservedly defeated AZ 3-1. The hosts lead 2-0 after missing multiple chances to kill the gane off before AZ pulled one back, a thunderbolt of a strike made it 3-1. Really good ground and game 👏 #Groundhopping

Followed by FC Groningen vs PEC Zwolle in artic conditions. The game suspended after 7 minutes for the pitch to be cleared of snow. Bitterly cold night but an entertaining game in the conditions that ended 2-2. Great views from the upper tier #Groundhopping

Final game of the trip saw a comfortable home win for Almere City FC 3-0 against VVV-Venlo a small and compact venue with friendly locals. Enjoyable. Overall another great trip. 6 games, 6 new grounds. Many a mile covered. Roll on February till the next! #Groundhopping

Saturday night back in Belgium as RFC Seraing hosted RSCA futures. The away side scoring a later penalty after being earlier reduced to 10 men to win the game 1-2. #Groundhopping

Final game of the trip saa a goaless draw between Royal Francs Borains and RWDM Brussels Not a classic with the hosts having a 1st half penalty saved. But quite enjoyed ticking this one off. Only the 3 games this trip but as always its been great! Roll on the next #Groundhopping
