Today we joined students from East Riding College and Headlands Sixth Form for a Bridlington Medical, Health and Social Care Academy tour of the Allam medical building at University of Hull with sessions on PBL from Hull York Medical School, ODP experience and clinical skills.

Head Girl Izzy, is on her A.C.P.S course (Air Cadet Pilot Scheme) at Tayside Aviation in Dundee. She is having lessons in the Aquila A211 aircraft and will hopefully take a Solo flight at the end of the course. She is doing a great job representing our School and CCF.

Congratulations to Cerys who has been awarded this year’s Reading List Foundation scholarship giving her £250 to spend on books at university. Cerys’ dedication and attitude has been phenomenal leading to exceptional predicted grades and a university scholarship from Jimmy Choo.

The Year 12 Geographers have been completing their distant place study as part of their A-Level course. They used a range of urban fieldwork techniques to investigate the regeneration of Newcastle city centre. #fieldwork #Geography

Year 12 enjoyed a trip to CU Scarborough today with taster sessions in Primary Teaching, Policing, Acting and Sports Coaching and Performance.
