One of the reasons I fight for #mentalhealth awareness is bc I have seen many incidents escalated by someone who saw a mental health crisis and treated it as a behavior issue bc they don't have the tools or info to do differently. Can be traumatic even deadly

Watched 2 unrelated docs about programs/schools (now closed) for "troubled teens". Makes me so sad to know of damage done and still happening in places to people who need support, grace, and resources. We need better #mentalhealth #trauma

At restoration #yoga last night when we were ending w/guided #mediation the teacher placed blankets on each of us and my body remembered how comforting and nurturing it is to be 'tucked in'. We all need more of that #selfcare

At Lowe's this weekend while I was buying a dishwasher I watched a girl abut 10 or so draw on the fridge w/the touch screen as she sang and danced around w/o a care in the world. Told her parents I think she's amazing. Carefree and beautiful
