Yea, even picking up cob and moving. Local school didn’t send out buses with kids due to limited visibility. There is limited reasons for clean fall tillage, there are ms y more reasons to not clean till. The economic loss of topsoil, nutrients and carbon is tangible.m

Ditch looks like sand grains in the Sahara. Thousands of years of valuable top soil removed in one afternoon. Brutal winds. Have my share of tin to fix. Thankfully not much more damage than that. Bonfire will be good sized.

Congrats to Purdue on the tourney win. Good stretch of game. Also great to see 9 men’s and 12 women’s B1G teams make the field. It’s been a long time my Buckeyes have played. Regardless of outcome it’s a great accomplishment for a program not investing like others.

Congrats to Thad Matta on his retirement. Nothing but respect. The best basketball moment ever for me live was the Sylvester 3 that beat Illinois when they were #1 and 31-0. Had his back surgery not been the disaster it was his OSU trajectory would have been epic.

I wish we had good quality studies on microplastics instead of the “deficient, unreliable and corrupted” that exist. Sounds like the Make America Hungry Again group at its best with ag, medicine and food production.

I’m not a follower of the fert industry per se but it does not take a genius to grasp the damage that has/is being done to food production in the USA.

Exceptional top portion of the conference this season. It has been a great season for those programs with large commitments to their men’s bb team.

Brian Mitchem (@brianmitchem3) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Exactly. I love to play in my garden and very much enjoy the quality of produce. There is no way in hell we can replace intensive ag in any way and not kill a huge number of people on the planet. Although, the Make America Hungry Again group are trying.

Show cause U at its finest. On3 listed the top nil $ his season and show cause u has 2 over $2mm with Yax and Johnson. Somehow some believe that QB1 didn’t max that allocation.

Great news on Bynum returning, I’m sure he has been offered bank. Upside is huge with him and Juni plus AT. Sucks to lose Royal, but understood. Now, let’s just hope we get some funds to actually compete in the TP.

Nice start to the Guards season. 4-3 road trip, 1st place vs Mariners/BigMoneyLA. This is with Jose hitting .167. That won’t last long. Hope Smith gets back to elite as the closer. 9 era not going to work.

agcrops.osu.edu/newsletter/cor… Good piece from OSU on DON testing in the corn performance trials for the 3rd year. These are hand inoculated with the disease with each hybrid receiving the same dose. Remember the statistics count on the significance. FYI

extension.entm.purdue.edu/newsletters/pe… good article from Purdue on the value of soy residuals. Don't be the farmer that thinks they can get by with in crop programs only and be the first to select for resistant weeds. Yield advantage to early season crop response - yes, u don't sell stems.

Brian Mitchem (@brianmitchem3) 's Twitter Profile Photo

was familiar with most of the actives listed and used in organic production, but not all. Intensive organic uses more pesticides than intensive ag in most crops. Take a look at the pages of omri approved products if u question.

Sad news with Ted Ginn Jr getting a dui the morning before coaching his team. No excuses for the dui, glad no one was hurt but ridiculously bad choice for a coach before a game. Obviously isn’t serious about the role. Wish him well, hope he gets help he needs.

March beans. 10% above ground, the rest are still healthy and coming. Crust is 1/2” and coming through easily. In NW Ohio a 1/2” crust is nothing. Didn’t dig a bean that has died. This weekends low temps may impact the stand. Know more next week this time.

Solid list. Modern pesticides should be on the list. DDT itself saves over 500k every year and has the last 50+ years as mosquito control in malaria impacted areas.
