An interesting bit of COMREL #history: in the 1973 edition of the #Taiwan Report, a welcome aboard packet issued to all members of US Taiwan Defense Command #USTDC that covered everything from housing and schooling for dependents, it also listed the COMREL transition in #wartime:

Today's dose of #COMREL history... the #command relationships for the #Taiwan Patrol Force, Task Force 72, in 1958. This depicts OPCON of task units and task groups under CTF 72. The ADCON line also reveals the parent commands from which the TUs and TGs were sourced.
