This is by far the best article I've read on AI. It tries to understand what GPT actually is, and thoughtfully (not defensively) compares it to human thinking. It also is the best effort I've seen to tackle the super speculative and super big implications of AI.

Very sad. I must have seen her video for this song hundreds of times when I was in 8th grade. Watching this now gave me chills.

We still quote Elizabeth years after she moved on from Intercom: “Words matter”. Look forward to reading this. Congrats!!!

This thread is very cool. I didn't quite understand this product proposition when they launched, but seeing these examples now lays it out clearly. Pretty cool use case for our new AI world. (Their demo makes the whole UX clear youtube.com/watch?v=BgF05O…)

Intercom's Emmet Connolly and Fergal Reid go heavy into speculative mode on the future of AI. I think Fergal's comparison to Deep Blue really sharpens why this is such an inflection point: intercom.com/blog/videos/th…

Had a great chat with Leah Tharin on her ProducTea podcast. Lots of shared challenges and incredible excitement building with AI. We also talked about more standard product development, the challenge of using adoption metrics to know whether you've sufficiently solved a customer

🤗 Unusual opportunity for product leadership role at Intercom! I'm now hiring for a Sr. Group Product Manager for our Platform Group. The remit is a challenging one, as you’ll be working across a broad set of our product, including the customer data platform, apps &

It felt like there was a *relative* lull for while, but this week feels like ~6 months ago, where every day is "damn, hard to keep up with all the happenings in AI!"

If you hear someone say: "Sure GPT is cool, but all it does is just predict the next word", this post will arm you with a better understanding of how LLMs work, so you can reply: "I think you're missing the big picture here." Great post explaining very complex AI tekkers for

Surprising how often I put in headphones but then get distracted by slack or whatever and don't actually start playing any music. What's nice is that it's a very private fail. 😅

Almost immediately after ChatGPT, everyone took for granted the amazing fluent language capability of LLMs. The reality is no one knows why they’re so good. This article articulates this mystery well. Was Linguistic A.I. Created by Accident? newyorker.com/science/annals…
