Since Valentine’s Day fell on a Saturday, which means probably every restaurant is packed, and it’s such a pretty day to grill, my wife Laura elected for one of my smoker grilled steaks. So I got it fired up with a Pabst light or two 😉

My grandson Maverick knew that Paps had the High Limit Racing race on, and he wanted to watch too.

Wishing my son & tire guy Matthew a happy 18th birthday today. His time isn’t as readily available for us these days, but he still helps when he can. At least he can get into the pits legally now at all tracks!🤣👍🏻 He’s still my little buddy & has one of his own (mine too!).

I tend to agree with this. I’m also thinking the neck restraints need to be independent from the shoulder harnesses and not secured by the belts. I actually use a homemade “crash pad” on my seat bottom.

I lean heavily towards agreeing with Flea. I also think my next neck restraint will be a hybrid. I think some of these crash injuries are due in part in being too secure in the seat. The body has no more give after the take.

Stella Rae Rose April 25, 2017 - April 11, 2026. Our beloved shih-tzu Poop Bear has left us today just two weeks shy of 9 years old. She was a great, loving companion to our family. We already miss her and will always remember her.
