Although the front lawn is still too damp for Lawn Chair Church, we will gather for worship on the back parking lot behind the church at 10am.

Lawn Chair Church on Sunday, May 23, will be at 11AM (note the time change). We look forward to the opportunity to share in a combined service with our friends from Trinity Presbyterian Church.

Brentwood will be marching with the Faith Voices of Southwest Missouri delegation. The march begins at 9am at Mediacom Ice Park (635 E. Trafficway) and concludes at Park Central Square. The Faith Voices delegation will meet at 8:45am near the large fountain at Jordan Valley Park.

I was invited to give an MLK speech today and a small number of members of the group hosting me wrote and then leaked emails opposing my giving this speech, as it dishonored Dr. King for me to do so. They called me a "discredited activist" "unworthy of such association with King"

174 Covid+ inpatients 44% positivity rate. As omicron accelerates, each day a new record, yesterday 896 Covid + test results, compared to delta surge high of 183. 877 deaths, 50 in the month of January, it is no concession to these families that people consider this more mild.

Due to the heightened risks of Omicron and its surge in the Ozarks, we are taking a brief break from regular in person worship services at Brentwood. Once the Omicron surge slows down, we will resume gathering for worship in person. Service at 10am on brentwoodchristianchurch.tv.
