Congratulations to Dragons 2007 born goaltender Matthew Kondro on signing with the Red Deer Rebels of the WHL! Kondro has posted a 8-4-2 record with a 3.30 GAA and a .898 SV% in his rookie season with the Dragons! Congrats, Matty! #AJHL #Dragons #WHL

In last night’s 2-0 win over the Canucks, Sean Cootes earned his 4th shutout of the season and 7th of his career! This now moves him into a tie for the all-time Dragons franchise record in shutouts with Jonathon Larose! Only one more to make history! Congratulations, Sean!

We are excited to announce that Matthew Kondro has taken home Defensive Player of the Week honours! Kondro stopped 60/61 shots (.984 SV%) in wins over the Eagles and Bobcats while also picking up his 1st career shutout and helping the Dragons extend their win streak to 6 games!

After two goals and five points in tonight’s win, Bradley Gallo has moved into a tie for 1st place in the AJHL for points with 63! He also leads the AJHL in goals with 32! Additionally, he is currently on a 10 game point streak where he has produced 23 points and 8 goals!
