Activision has Cease and Desisted extremely-hyped fan project H2 (essentially MW2 Remastered Multiplayer) just one day before it was set to release. The mod required purchases of MWR via Steam, catapulting it to the top of the best selling chart. They hate when you have fun.

The fact that H2M got shut down, just shows that Activision was genuinely scared of it affecting BO6 sales even though it quite literally generated them thousands within the last couple days. Absolute joke of a company.

H2 Mod required a purchase of Modern Warfare Remastered to even play, which conveniently also went on sale during this time… the game reached #2 top seller again on Steam because of this Mod and they still cease and desist it 1 day before release So whack

It took Activision 8 years to take legal action against Engine Owning (COD cheat dev since 2014), but they act immediately against a non profit, community driven, passion project that REQUIRES players to purchase MW2 from Activision to play?! Am I missing something here???
