It was great to visit LEAF Creative Arts CIC on Friday during their activity club at Edgbaston Community Centre. The next session will be taking place on Friday 24th of February between 11.00am and 12.30pm and will be the 'Moving Memories Cafe' a creative reminiscence session!

Last week we enjoyed our penultimate session at Edgbaston Community Centre, where Dani from Rogue Letters taught us how to do lyric art calligraphy and Natalie had us all dancing and writing with ribbons! March 31st our last session at the Centre, come along! Edgbaston Neighbourhood Network Scheme

What a joy it was to hear the gorgeous sounds of our choir singing some absolute classics this week! At Stirchley Baths on Monday, we had a scrumptious start to our new project celebrating all things food-related! We discussed everything from lemon meringue to sweet biryani, and toad in the hole to tripe. Yesterday, we were honing our decoupage skills, applying beautifully vibrant and interesting designs to clay pots. Some of our participants added colour accents to their pots using paint. Our session in West Heath this week was full of joy and laughter. We eased ourselves into the festive season by creating beautiful Christingles and pomanders. Everyone got really stuck in and showed such creativity. The National Lottery Community Fund Northfield NNS

On Monday, we were transported (through our senses) around Europe and serenaded by the marvellous Dave Jones. We made uplifting "Postcards of Kindness" and finished with a wonderful movement session with Natalie.
