IMAX blind witnesses about to be tested like they never have before. Also this aside see movies on 35 and regular 70mm. Far better format

ā€œcompleting work Fleming and LeRoy would have if it had been possibleā€ AI film people will never make good stuff cause their imagination only works in 1 of 2 ways 1. What if Wes Anderson directed Wizard of Oz 2. What if scenes in Wizard of Oz were extended

14 films in and this ranking is already becoming tough. Once your Ran, High and Low and Throne of Bloods show up this is gonna become a mess.

The final boss of AI came faster than I thought it would. If this becomes popular it’s legit over. That being said so very confident this fails. Most people can’t think beyond ā€œwhat if Wes Anderson did Star Warsā€. Interesting for 5 minutes then they go back to reality

By the time we get to the 1950s does Akira Kurosawa just tell Takashi Shimura ā€œhey next movie is shooting these datesā€ without even telling him the movie or role? 14 movies in and bros in all but 2. Haven’t seen any AK movies from the 70s so curious to see how long they lasted.

Killers I Feel would sadly go down on a rewatch. I would love to know what this guy and other Osage historians think of the ā€œthere were no mention of the murders sceneā€ given actual history

I’ve largely don’t read many new comic books but sometimes one will come along that reignites the faith. Thank you Phil Jimenez for giving what feels like the now definitive origin for one of my favs Donna Troy. He always gets her and this may be his best work yet.

Absolute cinema lmao. Brady must have been so disgusted by Rooney who has the same problem as guys line Magic did. Was such a good player he makes a terrible coach. He expects his players to be like him and sucks at communicating

Wow. Akira Kurosawa’s I Live in Fear. Maybe his saddest and most humanistic work? Mifune might beg the best actor I’ve ever seen. There is a scene where he breaks down and just wow. Could make a case this is his strongest performance .

Maybe I live in Fear should be just behind as opposed to just in front of Drunken Angel but man I thought it was pretty good

Now watching on the big screen. One of my top 10 favorite movies of all time. Billy Wilder’s Sunset Boulevard. 75 years young anniversary screening.
