Candidates have enough responsibilities and a crash course in the riding you wish to represent shouldn’t be on the list. As the previous MP knows, Oxford needs to be represented by someone who knows Oxford - its people, communities and needs. That person is @Hilderley2023.

Our gov't is working hard to support farmers who feed our families. Today, in partnership w/ the Ontario Government, we announced $68M in funding under the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership. Thank you to Shuh Orchards in #WestMontrose for hosting this announcement. Ontario Federation of Agriculture

Today I tabled my first Private Members Bill - Prohibition of the Export of Horses by Air for Slaughter Act. Canadians have expressed concern over the export of live horses for slaughter. Other countries have banned this practice & I believe it is time for Canada to do the same!

There are nearly 30 egg farms in Kitchener-Conestoga. Our community is one of Ontario's top egg farm regions. Let’s show our support for the hardworking farmers and families here in Kitchener-Conestoga, and throughout Canada. Happy World Egg Day! #WorldEggDay

Conservatives are disingenuous when they claim to care about food insecurity in 🇨🇦. You want proof? Conservatives all voted against a National Student Nutrition Program today - that’s healthy meals in schools. Who could vote against food for kids? #cdnpoli #NotWorthTheRisk

Pierre Conservatives just voted against a National School Food Program. Who votes against a program that will help kids not go to school hungry? Pierre. Same guy who voted against dental for kids. Votes against every program that lifts people up - even kids.

Voting against healthy meals for kids. That’s what Pierre Poilievre’s Conservatives did today. I voted it for. #ottawavanier Voter contre des repas nutritifs pour enfants. C’est ce que le conservateur Pierre Poilievre a voté aujourd’hui. J’ai voté pour. #ottawavanier

At a time when Canadians are struggling, we need the major grocers and all supply chain partners to come to the table, adopt and adhere to the Grocery Code of Conduct. Full statement from André Lamontagne and I: canada.ca/en/agriculture…

This is disappointing. We’ll keep doing the work because we understand that no child should go to school hungry. It’s unfortunate that the Conservatives don’t believe this is worthwhile. ctvnews.ca/politics/amid-…

I tabled a motion in Agriculture Committee today to study how we can better protect agricultural land in the future. 319 acres of prime agricultural land is lost every day in Ontario.

When someone tells you they will start taking your rights away, believe them. And when that someone is Mr. Poilievre, remember he's done it before. This long weekend, tell him the Charter belongs to Canadians and to keep his hands off of our rights and freedoms.

Wonderful to welcome the Prime Minister to Kitchener-Conestoga to hear from folks. I’m proud to live in a country where our leader walks with me through neighbourhoods, knocks on doors & hears what’s important to Canadians—from Canadians. Thanks for visiting, Justin Trudeau!
