Quick update on some of the issues we’re tracking: Beta 4 should hopefully be coming soon with fixes for… various games not opening, delayed/partial live game updates (when refreshing), a couple crashes, and some UI tweaks. Stay tuned!

Beta 4 is now available through TestFlight! Should fix a bunch of small game-related bugs and crashes.

Beta 5 is now available through TestFlight! A handful of bug fixes + the ability to view all plays in a game:

Just a quick update... we're aware of a new crash in beta 5 when viewing some team profiles and scrolling through their leaders, also some large & blurry team logos in game previews. Fixes coming for those soon, and anything else we discover in the meantime!

Looks like the NHL’s standings are down… and that means they’re down in Breakaway too.

Heads up that the NHL's API appears to be struggling today, so naturally Breakaway will suffer a bit. You may see some slowness, missing data, and failures around player profiles, team pages, standings, and more.

Welp. We've been trying to get 1.0.1 out with some bug fixes but Apple doesn't seem to like that we're using NHL logos, even though 1.0 somehow got approved 🙃

It’s looking like we’ll be releasing updates to Breakaway exclusively via TestFlight for the foreseeable future since Apple is rejecting us for using 3rd-party logos. Having said that, 1.0.1 is out now (which we had intended to release a couple weeks ago):

So, uhh… thoughts on how Breakaway looks *without* team logos, since Apple won’t allow them?

The underlying issue is that we don’t technically have permission to use the logos, they’re property of the NHL/some entity. It’s either not possible to get rights to them or very costly.
