Whoever the sweet people were that were giving our mimosas that gave me just the orange juice (cause I’m sober) yesterday at Chicago marathon are my heroes! I needed that sip of juice so bad!

I’m grateful I got to do and finish Chicago, now time to shift my focus on shorter distances. Because Sunday humbled the f*** out of me. I’ll be back world major marathons. Just not so soon yet.

Not quite ready to run but a Nice bike ride today! My husbands bike is much taller than me 😭🤣 def need to change the seat for some cushioning!

I straight thought I had a 11 page paper due Sunday and all it was is I wasn’t reading correctly to understand it’s just the first steps to get to the paper due in a month 🤦🏽‍♀️ def ready for that break off school 🤣

Longest run since the marathon 2 months ago. Almost time to start half marathon training 💙

10 treadmill miles in the midst of the holiday chaos

As I sit here laying out the “Santa” stuff I can’t help to miss my mom a bit and how she made this time of year magical. Grief is such a strange thing and hits at random times.

Been forever since I used Twitter but time to half marathon train again, had a nice summer of working on speed, let’s see where we go in this cycle

Bright and early 30 mins zone 2 run this am.

Week 1 half marathon trading done! 70 mins! A little under 5 done!
