Strong work from ECS Eagles wrestlers at the Panther Clash hosted by Bartlett High School Saturday! Congratulations to 8th grader Cayden Clay and sophomore Bryant Gengenbach for getting on the podium! Cayden earned 2nd place at 106 lbs. and Bryant claimed 3rd place at 113 lbs.

Wrestling State Tournament Update: Cayden Clay (8th grade) defeats Friendship Christian to secure ECS’ first state medal in wrestling! Cayden advances to the consolation semifinals Saturday morning for a spot in the third place match. #GoEagles

Congrats to Cayden Clay of ECS! The eighth-grader finishes fifth in the 106-pound class at the D2 state tournament and that’s the first medalist in program history. He pinned Isaiah Waycaster of CBHS in his last match.

Congrats to Ashton Boswell! The Cordova senior pins Jake Sentell of Nolensville in 4:58 to win the Class AA state title at 215. He finishes the year with a 30-2 mark and is the first state champ from an MSCIAA school in a long time. Great accomplishment.
