I just received a letter from NYS Tax Dept saying I failed to file NY State taxes in 2018 and owe $4,200.

I have never lived or worked in New York.

After weeks/months away I jumped back on here for 2 minutes to look for some specific information and as a fountain of vile bullshit instantly blasted through my eyeballs and into my soul, I IMMEDIATELY REGRETTED IT.

I can understand from Musk's perspective wanting to rebrand something to distance it from cursed past association (though I'm not sure precisely what triggered him). But 'X' is just going to make all links to here look like porn.

Most rebranding is stupid - especially when the brand name is the only thing of value - but #X is the most desperate 90’s-ass bid for coolness I can imagine. Might as well call it Poochie and put a backward baseball hat on it.
