The moment the husband of a doctor at a front-line Ukrainian hospital surprised her after 5 months apart Ilona Butova stayed behind in a village under constant shelling near Kharkiv as her staff of 27 dwindled to 5 Her hospital has been shelled 5+ times but she refuses to leave

A generator used in the hospital is loud making it hard for docs to hear how close the shelling is and the big operating room staff say has too many windows exposing them to snipers.
