One of the most interesting things this Q4 has been realizing the people that I talk to the most regularly, are all CRUSHING this year in their own lane. Sure, there is some overlap in what we sell and how we source, but for the most part, the most profitable sellers I know are

Was a loser still living with mom and dad at the tail end of a couple failed businesses with no money. Within 2 years started medical school, got married, and have a successful reselling business. A complete 180

Sales same as last year but profitability waaaay up Biggest changes from last year: 1. Didn’t sell out all inventory on BFCM 2. Aggressively raising minimums 3. More credit to be able to continue taking advantage of all the deals throughout Q4

A2A is cool but often times feels like you’re gambling. Was much more lucrative before it became mainstream. After all the losses, it’s not as profitable as it’s made out to be

Making a couple hundred bucks each month A2A is easy. It’s making thousands of dollars profit per month without taking losses is when it gets challenging

Money twitter (X), how should I set up my investments in retirement accounts? Should I maximize retirement accounts (Roth IRA’s) or should I keep some money in a non retirement stock account in case I need to cash out for business/RE opportunities in the future?

Rudy from alpha investments is an inspiration. Just would dread the anxiety of having so much valuable sealed trading cards stored away in case a freak accident happens or a bad actor steals

Have reinvested almost every dollar back in the business and even though it’s been tough I’ve never paid myself but it’s finally paying off Year 1: started off with $20K-25K Year 2: $40K Year 3: $60K-65K Ending year 3 with roughly $130K (capital + inventory minus liabilities)

2025 was a year for the books. Many mistakes but also many lessons learned 1. Many people quitting has made reselling more profitable 2. Many profitable plays died and had to find new ones 3. Started using a prep center at year end 4. Aggressive reinvestment pays off

Yep this is the correct way to think. Even Coinbase was started on 20 hours a week after work If you can't get any traction while holding down a W-2 (easiest money in the world), you're not going to make it anyway On the side is more than enough time to make multiple tries
