Yesterday, one of our cadets, Ashar, was chosen by Blue Peter to have an audience with Their Majesties The King & Queen Consort. Ashar spoke to them about his St John Ambulance England voluntary work that learnt him 1 of his 6 BP badges. His audience with them is on Blue Peter next Friday

Congratulations to all the cadets from St John Ambulance England Bournbrook YSU on all their awards, certificates, badges & trophies awarded to them at the Unit Presentation Evening tonight. Great to have so many parents & grandparents supporting the cadets as well as visiting officers.

Huge congratulations to one of our cadets, Ashar, on being voted by other cadets within SJA West Midlands Region Youth as one of two cadets representing SJA West Midlands District as District Youth Voice representatives on the Regional Forum. We know Ashar will do the role to the best of his ability.
Congratulations to the 5 cadets from Bournbrook YSU who attended & passed their St John Ambulance England Cadet Leadership 1 course today. One proud Unit Manager after seeing them all looking so smart in their uniform. Looking forward to them bringing their new knowledge back to the unit.
Congratulations to our Unit Training Lead, Michael, who was awarded with his Long Service certificate in recognition of the 25 years he had worked for St John Ambulance England as a Trainer. This is alongside the 35 years he has been a volunteer.
A huge thank you to Firefighters, Annika, Clare & Russ from purple watch of Ladywood Fire Station for visiting Bournbrook YSU tonight. The cadets got to try on the firefighters uniform, look at all the equipment that is on their BRV, as well as learn some important fire safety info.
