All I know is watching WWIII begin before my eyes has led me to question every single thing they told us about WWI and WWII.

Because money is created when politicians vote to spend it on something. The money doesn’t exist till it is voted to be spent and spending creates it. What it is spent on is a policy choice, not economics. If spent on war, they clearly prefer war over public services.
