One of the most obvious traits visible at the WCWS is great players don’t appear to get nervous. They get determined. They don’t appear to be scared of failure but rather anxious for success. Romero was not panicked because she didn’t hit well last night. She was determined.

Lady Colonels get over that hump...finally. They defeated Mason Co 42-35 in the first round of the 10th Region tourney. This is the first Region tourney win since 1994.

It also moves the record to 20-13 which gives the Lady Colonels their first back to back 20 win seasons since 1986/1987. This group is making history. Next game is against Campbell Co on Friday night at 7:30 at Campbell Co Middle School. Get there!!

In Honor of the 2020 Lady Colonels Softball team and this years seniors we observed lighting up the field at 8:00 for twenty minutes and twenty seconds. We still hold out hope that we will be able to play a shortened schedule.
