The agreement we signed (sic) in 1927 created a legal agreement, that our members would always stand as Lab & Co-op. But as Labour were and are bigger it was agreed Labour only could stand. We have, I think never fielded more than 50 L&C candidates. Who knows as we get bigger...

The infected blood scandal has impacted many, not just those directly infected, but their loved ones. In Parliament today, I raised the importance of those affected, such as parents of the infected, and that they need to see justice delivered, after decades of fighting.
