If you are interested in distributed transaction processing, Divy Agrawal, amr el abbadi, Boon Thau Loo and I will present a tutorial tomorrow (June 9, 2 pm) at SIGMOD/PODS 2025. The tutorial covers the basics of transaction processing and consensus (especially BFT) protocols.
