Correction: #Bono: “you have **to** SURRENDER.” This allusion is so big in Bono’s life that it became the title / theme of his memoir SURRENDER. And first appeared in the song SURRENDER: “And if I wanna live I gotta die to myself someday”

THE LIFE AND ASSASSINATION of MLK inspired Bono to write two songs: “Pride (In the Name of Love)” and “MLK.” Both songs contain Biblical allusions, but “MLK” is more cryptic with “thundercloud” and “rain.” WATCH AND DECIDE for yourself.
