Individualism is literally killing us. This “you do you” mentality, this “your health isn’t my responsibility,” this “just focus on yourself” attitude is literally killing us. This isn’t how society works. You can’t individualize yourself out of your need for community care.

In Germany if you lose your job, you don't lose your health coverage, because healthcare in Germany is universal and not tied to employment. In the U.S. if you lose your job, coverage can cost a family thousands per month, because in the U.S. healthcare is a for-profit industry.

Calling for entire neighborhoods to be emptied and bulldozed sounds eerily similar to what Israel is doing to Palestinians. It’s almost as if that imperial boomerang always comes back to bite. The same rhetoric and tactics used against Palestinians will be used against Americans.

LA has been nonstop protesting since June but we stopped hearing anything after early July. I'm talking 24 hours of people on the streets protesting. Even accounts that share updates are being extremely suppressed across all social media. This is very very bad. Solidarity to LA!
