I find Adam's/Rama's Bridge, & the fact it was possible to walk along it from India to Sri Lanka until as recently as 1480, a fascinating phenomenon.

The Vicar of St Augustine in the City of London wrote a tribute to their church cat 'Faith' who survived a night of bombing on 9th September 1940. She seemed to have a premonition of the devastation to come. In 1945 Faith was the first cat to be awarded a medal for bravery.
