Patrick and Jacob's state run ended at quarterfinals, but we still had an outstanding record and run... Next up is district for LD and extemp!

Great work by Byron Nelson High School students Jacob White and Patrick Maher for competing in the UIL State Cross-Examination Debate event held in Austin! Jacob and Patrick were undefeated in the preliminary rounds and finished 6th overall in the state's 6A division.

Jacob, Patrick, and Sophia coming out of UIL region... No breaks, but good experience, and we're ready to pick up some ballots NSDA Districts this weekend..

Officer Election results are in: President- Patrick Vice President- Brooklyn Secretary- Sophia Historian- Carly Treasurer- Reese Congratulations to everyone who ran. Also, a huge thank you to Mrs. Dollar, and our current President, Jacob, who led the program to success this year!

This weekend, our LDers had a solid start to the season at our first tounament of the year at Grapevine and are ready to start training novices the rest of the year. Everyone learned a lot and had a good time... We're ready to make some good things happen this year!

Our run at UNT is officially over! Reese broke to semis for Original Oratory and Patrick finished tied for third and as the third place speaker for Varsity LD!! Go bobcats!

Today, we went to UIL Region for Congressional Debate. It was all of our competitor's first time doing congress, and everyone did well, Patrick placing 6th! Go bobcats!!

Brooklyn and Patrick were undefeated at 2 UIL tournaments and qualified to state! Patrick made semis and finals, went 12-1 at flower mound. Next month we're headed to nat-quals and we've got 2 state championships on the horizon! Let’s go bobcats!
