November 6th is a chance for ALL Americans to make their voices heard and participate in an important political process that will affect your everyday life. Whether your frustrated or content about the policies my colleagues & I propose -- #VOTE!

I have been beaten, my skull fractured, and arrested more than forty times so that each and every person has the right to register and vote. Friends of my gave their lives. Do your part. Get out there and vote like you’ve never voted before. #vote #goodtrouble

During another period people waited in immovable lines, faced billy clubs and cattle prods, in order to register and vote. Have courage, raw courage, and let nothing stop you from exercising your right to vote in this election. Do your part. Vote. #GoodTrouble

It’s hard to believe this journey started nearly nine months ago. The polls open in less than 10 hours. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who has donated their time, resources and energy to getting us to today. We have one last thing to do — now, we vote.

President Trump talked a whole lot about the black unemployment rate, but has his aides misinformed–yet again—he should know black unemployment has decreased PRIOR to his presidency. Again, #ThanksObama.

We ended the evening last night with the Bryn Mawr Democrats for a round table discussion on running for office, policy and what’s at stake under this administration. I am so energized by this generation and their active participation in our democracy. Thank you for having me!
