Did you know the Brooklands racing track opened in June 1907? For safety reasons the 2 3/4 mile long track was built 100 feet wide! Make sure to check it out next time you visit!

Happy #InternationalWomensDay from Doreen Evans! Doreen raced at Brooklands during the 1930’s and was part of an all female led MG team in the 1935 Le Mans. Doreen’s racing career was full of excitement and after retiring from racing Doreen went on to gain her pilots license!

This Pathé Archive video was taken 98 years ago #onthisday. It features the JCC 200-Mile Race on 19 August 1922, won by K.L. Guinness. The footage really captures the speeds at which they raced on the Brooklands banking and the incredible views spectators would have had.
