Wind shear & instability are solid. Forcing & spin are weak. Ultimately, this should yield a low-moderate severe wind & hail threat. Trends will be monitored over the coming days.

Models seem to be in disagreement about Thursday's setup. Nonetheless, strong winds could be the main threat alongside some marginal hail.

On this date, back during a 12-day span in 2013, the most recent EF5 rated #tornado struck portions of Newcastle-South OKC-Moore #okwx . Rated 210 mph EF5, the wedge tornado tracked 14 miles over 39 minutes and reached a width of 1900 yards. It claimed 24 people and injured 212.

With temps expected to rise into the 80’s, and maybe even hitting 90 for some, there will be a big cold front behind it. This front is expected to come through at some point Thursday. This needs to watched for a potential severe weather event for the northeast! #wxtwitter
