This is one of the worst calls I've seen in recent memory. Not only is Rakell being hauled down by Sanderson outside the blue paint, Sanderson's stick is the one to make contact with Ullmark. Just bonkers. Goaltender interference is a total guess by the league. It has to be.

I don't know about you but I really don't appreciate the lack of effort by the pens tonight. It seems to get worse and worse the more I watch.

Would not be surprised if Tristan Jarry re-aggravated the same injury that nagged him throughout the second half of 2022-23. A former PIT front office exec said that injury is something he’d have to manage for the rest of his career, to whatever degree that may be.

This signing doesn’t get talked about as a home run enough. Obviously the bottom could fall out but based on the eye test, I don’t think that’s a very good possibility.
