Giving thanks today for Sharika Yuricic for so graciously welcoming us to the worldwide community of ROVers that they have helped to build, and for helping us to succeed. Rusty and team are fine people! #givethanks

Today I #GiveThanks for my wife and business partner, Jillaire. When I first started Blue Trail Engineering last year, I thought I could do it myself. Silly me...

It was our honor to sponsor the MATE ROV Competition last month, where several teams used our components. We love supporting robotics teams -- like Kingsport Technologies from Kingsport, Tennessee -- with student discounts. Looking forward to next year! #marinerobotics #rov

Did you know that we make custom cables and connectors? Pin count, wire configuration, length... you name it. Our novel cable architecture even allows us to make our cables in vibrant colors. #waterproofconnector #marinerobotics #subsea #rov

Good luck to all the RoboSub teams competing in San Diego this week! We're especially excited for all those who are using our servos and/or connectors (like the aptly-named Team Inspiration, shown here). Wish we could be there! #robosub

Coming soon: a super-low-cost waterproof enclosure made from a Nalgene bottle! Using a 32-oz Nalgene, the enclosure perfectly fits a Blue Robotics BlueROV2 battery. Perfect for ASVs and student ROV competitions like MATE and RoboSub. #materov #robosub #bluetech

A blast from the past... an experimental solar-powered ASV that I made a few years back using Blue Trail Engineering connectors, servo, and thruster. As you can see here, it's perfectly natural for a marine robotics company to be based in Colorado! #asv #marinerobotics

We're considering sponsoring an ocean race competition for autonomous boats (ASVs), geared towards high school and university students. Anyone interested? Speaking of ASVs, here's a picture of one that we're working on. #marinerobotics #oceanexploration

We love the fact that our customers push us to do better! When a customer challenged us to get our waterproof servos (which are normally rated to 200 meters depth) to work at 500 meters, we changed the lower case from acetal to aluminum and the servo worked down to 600 meters.
