2. Bangkong = kodok (id) = toad (eng).

So, we could say that toads are (or were) easily found in Gadobangkong.

2. Batu = batu (id) = stone (eng)

Ciumbuleuit is a place that used to be rice fields area. So we could've found so many leuit(s) there. The farmers store their harvested rice in the leuits to prepare for drought.

Anw, there are some another possibilities why did that a place named Gadobangkong.

1. That place has an icon that shaped like a chin or toad or chin's toad.
2. Someone or some people once doing something that related to chin & toads there.

'Curug' + 'Dogdog'

1. Curug = air terjun (id) = waterfall (eng)
2. Dogdog = alat musik pukul tradisional (id) = a traditional instrument.

People said they could hear dogdog's sounds from the waterfall, when water falling on the rocks.
