Anything to say x - Minnesota Frost or PWHL? Not interested in your pride collection if your league considers supporting trans women to be derogatory and thinks it okay to tell a fan the team no longer wants their gift bc they like Curl more than they care about pride

There’s something so poetic about Jack Quinn and Mattias Samuelsson being the ones to combine for this goal. Two guys the fanbase felt they had seen enough of heading into the season, now being able to celebrate with 19,000 people going absolutely nuts.

Boston fans complaining about Sabres fans booing the power play is hilarious. I’m sure they’d be cheering on their power play after going 0 for 20 something, they’re a fanbase known to do stuff like that

The Bills are bigger in Buffalo just by virtue of how much bigger the NFL is compared to the NHL, the Sabres absolutely have a more die hard fanbase.

I love the tiny little rise in volume from the engaged/smart Buffalo crowd as they see Quinn make the pass to Samuelsson sensing opportunity...then the DROP in volume to catch their breath to watch and hope...then the explosion as the puck rips the net. A symphony of joy.

This is at the CRUX of the ESPN broadcast problem btw. ESPN treats hockey like a tertiary and casual sport so it believes fans are, too. Using playoffs to “learn” how to pronounce a starting Finn goalie’s name; stunning. Then you get amateur hour play by play guys, bad audio..
