Nobody tell Mrs Cooper but this afternoon Miss Phillips broke the rules and opened a cinema in Blue Class to watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! Shhhh!

Our first Spelling Rules lesson today! For this we sit at our tables for the whole lesson! Very grown up!

In English we started our new book - The Great Kapok Tree. We have been acting as the animals trying to convince the man not to chop the tree down.

Year 2’s school councillors have been going round collecting donations for The Royal British Legion!

Wow! How a week flies by! Last week we welcomed Amanda (one of our parents) and her colleague Karen to our school. Money was on the mind! We learnt words associated with money, how to earn money, count money and save money! What an amazing time Year 2 had!

Year 2 PE sessions will be on Monday and Tuesday this week (not Thursday). Sorry for the short notice. Back to normal next week!
