New artwork and work in progress for the zine: 2014, driving to Kirby Bedon for the Broad and High commemoration. Very excited with DSLR ready to take some pics. I met Joanne from the US who’s father was piloting Broad and High when it crashed in the village in August, 1944.

“So go home to your women, your whisky, and your jive. You’re a lucky bastard to be alive!” | I was lucky enough to meet Leroy Engdahl at a 448th BG Reunion in 2007. Leroy was instrumental in the restoration of seething_control_tower and visited the old airbase, Seething village

Exploring 2nd Air Division tail markings for a tiny zine. Not as straightforward as first thought with groups changing tail schemes a few times.

How was your weekend? We had a family gathering at Seething & Mundham Village Hall. The village welcome 8th Air Force veterans on several occasions, notably in 1984 and 1992. Looks like these frames commemorate the 1984 return to Seething. officialseethingcontroltower

Sketch from this week. ‘The Davis Wing..had a lower drag coefficient than most contemporary designs, which allowed higher speeds, and created significant lift at relatively low angles of attack. Its use in designs ended almost immediately following the end of World War II. (Wiki)

Work-in-progress on a new tiny zine about the #USAAF. This will be printed on A6 sheets and will be about the size of a small box of matches when folded. It's designed to be a quick reference guide to help me recall tail markings and symbols for each group #KofiChallenge.
