Bookish thought: As a reviewer, I rarely give bad ratings 'cos I research most books/read samples and try to make sure it's something suited to me. If I read something that wasn't my usual sort of read, then didn't enjoy it, would it be fair of me to give it a low GR rating? 🤔

kinda crazy how much of a novelty it feels when people you meet are kind, friendly and chatty. I know every pub for example should give you a warm welcome but it almost never happens, nor does it in most hospitality industries these days. Everyone enjoys people being nice!

One of the best pieces of advice I've been given is to keep turning up at the gym even when you don't feel like it; just do what you can even if it's not the most intensity ever. My weakness is having a break, so forcing myself to do that one shit session gets me back into it.
