She didn’t rope me in. I offered to take Ellie out with me for lunch so she could have some time with Simon. Layla was at her grandparent’s.

She might not have. I just left them to it. They might not have even spoken. She’s been weird since she went to see your dad. Plus, it meant Ellie and I could go to the park then for pizza.

Have you spoken to her since she saw him the other day? We missed you too.
