We did it! Our students are #PublishedAuthors with Studentreasures ! This is the 6th year I have published with this company. This year we chose to write about “The Olympic Games”. Finally, we had a Book Premiere to showcase our work. 🏀 🏋️ 🥅 🏊 🎾 🏹 🏐 🤸🏼‍♀️

Our EB students adopted a desk pet. Then, beginning/intermediate writers wrote sentences about their animal while the advanced level students compared/contrasted their animal with another animal of their choice. #academiclanguagebuilding #showcasewriters

My students have been working hard to earn stickers for our Demco StickTogether poster. This was what it looked like mid December. It makes one large image. What could this be? “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” ~Helen Keller~

Our classroom became a “Sentence Emergency Room” today. Students acted as sentence doctors and bandaged 🩹 up the errors.

Wrapped up another year in education. One of my favorite events of the year was our 7th Annual Book Premiere. This project allows each student to really shine, and hosting this event gives me an opportunity to connect with their families. #PublishingParty #ProudAuthors

Drew finished off the season strong, throwing a no-hitter. He threw 41 pitches with 34 of them being strikes. Way to pound the zone, kid!!!
