-Eyes fluttering open to tears pouring down her cheeks. Slowly sitting up glancing over at the clock wiping the tears away taking a deep sigh before muttering I miss you guys-

-The memories flood her mind as if a dam had broken open. The images of all the ones I loved most start flashing as memories spark of all the good times we had ever had together. Moments I've took for granted that I'll never get back. -

A soft laughter leaves my lips at the thought my brothers best friend, and ex - love is the only one I can trust at my darkest time. Some might say it's a sign snorts at the thought as she turns onto the interstate heading back to my hometown Atlanta. --

-pulling up in my mom's drive way can't help to smile grabbing a few bags as I slide out the car. Walking up pulling the key out of my pocket and unlocking the door .-

-As I walk inside there's my mother as beautiful as she was just older now. Greeting her with a hug and a kiss I go upstairs to my old room. Tossing the bags on the floor I walk over to my desk and there he is handing next to me at prom.-

-soft laugh breaks the silence in the room as I trace a finger along the picture.- Snap out of Eve...says to myself. The phone starts ringing hearing mom answer I make my way downstairs to see her holding out the phone-

- with the biggest smile. Her Eve it's Hector for you" smiling I take the phone - "Eve come see me " then the phone dail sound looking over at mom guess he lost service or something. -

What's his fucking problem? Asking myself as I walk back upstairs to my room grabbing my phone to text him we can meet tomorrow morning at the diner we use to eat at all the time. -

Tossing the phone back onto the bed turning around to grab night clothes it's been one long road trip.-
