In the wild, about 95 percent of brook trout eggs laid don't make it through their first year! The kids were bummed about this, but got to see how their Trout in the Classroom project can make a HUGE difference in survival rates!

Unintentionally learning some physics in addition to math and trout ecology! Students had to scatter small paper food cards in a breeze, adjusting their technique to get as many in a circle as possible!
