Someone once told me I was a child bc I couldn’t stomach watching documentaries on drugs, addictions, or other horrific events & situations that occur in this world. I’m not ignorant to what goes on. I’ve seen this first hand. I think a normal reaction should be anger & sadness.

If you’re not upset about what is in the news, you become desensitized. When demons of our world become the norm, we lack motivation for change & restoration. It’s ok to ‘feel’ for people you don’t know that you see on media, it doesn’t make you weak or ignorant. Makes you real.

I was told I wasn’t realistic because I couldn’t handle listening or watching the atrocities of this world. I can watch. I can read. And I will listen. I don’t enjoy it. Yes, it stirs and evokes emotions out of me, but it should.

This is Cymber. She’s demonstrating a mutualistic relationship in which both parties involved and all witnesses benefit greatly. 14/10 (IG: fluffyhuskytales)

#BlacKkKlansman was a great film, hands down. For those of you who are still unconvinced and ignorant to racism in the USA, please watch this film.
