Jewish students are chained to Columbia University gates demanding the name of the trustee that reported Mahmoud Khalil to ICE. Dozens of NYPD officers are here.

NYPD has made their first arrest, a Jewish alumni for setting up a tent. Columbia students are continuing to protest for the release of Mahmoud Khalil and Mohsen Mahdawi. Protestors are chanting “400,000 DEAD, YOU’RE ARRESTING US INSTEAD”.

I invited Zohran Kwame Mamdani to this event, and so proud of it! Originally invited him (as part of the organizing team) hoping he would speak. I wanted more people to hear him, hoping more people would support him. We decided not to have politicians speak, but Zohran came anyway.
