People detained in jails have the right to vote, but without real access to the ballot. We can change that in NY by passing the #DemocracyDuringDetention bill from NYS Senator Zellnor Y. Myrie 米维 & @TheRealLatriceWalker

This bill is modeled on the system already in place for folks who are in nursing homes, hospitals, and substance abuse facilities, so election administrators currently have the processes in place to make voting in jails real in NYS.
